Here are the three best winter sleeping bags based on our comprehensive and informed review.
1. Western Kodiak MF
After a comprehensive review, we rated this bag as the best for several reasons. First, it has enough room with a zipper that is snag-free. Its ratio of warmth to weight is stellar and its price is quite affordable.
There is a large draft 3D tube which makes it’s unique. Besides, it allows you to sleep on your side, back, and stomach with no discomfort. Its weight makes it easy to pack too.
2. Mountain phantom Hardwear
Although expensive than the first option, you will be surprised how super compressible this sleeping bag is. The stuff sack within it is high-quality and there is a pocket where you can store batteries or headlamp. Its DW shell fabric keeps it dry at the bottom and keeps condensation away.
3. REI Co-op
Here is another sleeping bag with a shell fabric that is DWR treated and more affordable. Although note that it is quite heavy. Its draft collar is comfortable and it is high quality.
This sleeping bag is designed with the same features as some expensive sleeping bags. However, a downside is that it is quite heavy.
